When a covenant — marital, relational, congregational — is broken, what are the reasons to forgive — and the limits on forgiveness?  The Rev. Amanda Aikman, no stranger to our pulpit, is a retired UU minister who lives in Everett.  She is the author of 15 plays that have been produced in Washington and New York (as well as by a few of our own UUCWI congregants!) and two books: Full-Spectrum Joyfulness and the new novel, Miss Lister’s Guest House. Amanda has won over a dozen national sermon contests, including a $10,000 prize in the first Borden Sermon competition, and a $3500 Templeton prize for writings on science and religion.
