In his poem “the lamb was bleating softy,” Juan Ramon Jimenez imagines being in Bethlehem two thousand years ago. “I opened the barn door to see if/He was there/He was!” As we approach the generous mysteries of Christmas, let’s pull open the barn door of our heart to marvel at the holy child inside us.
