Across human history, there have been a multitude of cultural and religious stories about the earth, the universe, and our place within it. These origin stories have greatly shaped people’s relationship with Earth, informing behavior, choices and even policy. What kinds of stories do we (and the Earth) need now in the face of climate disasters? What stories and beliefs within Unitarian Universalism might help us heal our own broken relationships with the Earth?
