with Mark Simpson and Eileen Soskin
Our usual ways of doing things are suspended, possibly for a very long time. How do we nurture and express love when we can’t gather in person, can’t share hugs or meals, can’t sing together or work for justice side-by-side? Perhaps the greatest spiritual capacity is the ability to love deeply and fully in the face of loss.
Virtual Coffee Hour
Plan to stay after the service to join in a virtual coffee hour! Imagine you’re moving through coffee hour, connecting first with one small group of people, then another. Please join in this experiment in connecting via zoom’s “breakout groups.” PLEASE NOTE: you do not need to exit the zoom worship and log in to another zoom meeting as previously posted. Simply stay connected via the worship zoom link, and we’ll move right into coffee hour!
You’re invited to spend a few minutes listening to this musical inspiration for the theme of loving in the face of loss:
- “Show Us How to Love,” by Lindy Thomson (lyrics) and Mark Miller
- “Holy Thing to Love,” by Libby Roderick
