Evolution and ongoing change can be seen in living things, but also in the lifespan of a congregation.  This includes adaptations that come with changes in membership. Rev. Sarah Schurr, from the UUA, will be speaking about how congregations grow and change over time.

The Rev. Sarah Movius Schurr is our primary contact from the Congregational Life department of the UUA.  She is also the region’s small congregation specialist.  Before joining the UUA staff, Sarah served congregations in Oregon and Alaska.  She had a previous career in social work and was an active lay leader at the district and congregation level.  Sarah makes her home in Portland, Oregon.
