When It Dances

What if LGBTQ+ pride is more than celebration or protest? What if it is spiritual practice? For LGBTQ+ History Month and National Coming Out Day, we bring UU faith into conversation with Buddhism. Through the playful and provocative story of the Goddess in the Vimalakirti Sutra, we’ll celebrate LGBTQ+ pride as a courageous, joyful act of embodied dignity. In this vein, we’ll also celebrate the music of Holly Near.
