Pentecost: When the Spirit Moves

In the Christian tradition, Sunday, May 24th, is Pentecost Sunday. The story of Pentecost celebrates the gift of Spirit, “poured out on everyone.” As the story goes, the experience was so profound that some observers suspected the participants might be drunk. Rev. Dr. Catherine Foote will be joining us to suggest ways this legend of Spirit can help us listen deeply to the wisdom of one another and the wide variety of spiritual experiences that are a part of being human. Wearing something red is a part of this tradition, if you would like to participate.
