The UUCWI facility was designed to be fully accessible by mobility impaired persons.
*Due to the novel Coronavirus, the building is closed for all services and functions until further notice

Parking

NEWCOMERS_Accessibility_HandicapAs you drive onto our property, bear right at the fork and follow the loop counterclockwise to our building entry. You are welcome to drop someone off on the concrete apron in front of the door, to be greeted and helped by our congregants, prior to parking. Three parking spaces reserved for the mobility impaired are located just beyond the building, to the left of the entrance. Our driveways are gravel; unpowered wheelchairs may require assistance. Entrances

Our main entrance is wheelchair accessible, as is our entire single-story building, including the sanctuary, office, art gallery, kitchen, restrooms, religious exploration spaces, and patio. For delivery of supplies for parties and rentals, there is a ramp from the driveway to a side door into the kitchen. This door can be unlocked for ease of unloading heavy boxes or wheeled carts.

Personal Hearing Assistance Devices

NEWCOMERS_Accessibility_asstlistenThese devices are available from the ushers for Sunday services and other UUCWI events. They provide user-controlled amplification of sounds from our microphones, which all speakers in our sanctuary are asked to use.
