UUCWI is indeed fortunate to host one night of the five-day 2019 Seattle Latino Chamber Music Festival. Orchestra Northwest joins in presenting this singular, memorable concert played by two outstanding ensembles. The musicians are:
Antonio Navarro, guitar
Antonio has performed in Mexico, US and Spain where he obtained Master’s Degree in Classical Guitar from the University of Alicante, Spain where e studied with leading figures.
Teo Benson, violin
Teo earned a Master’s degree in Violin Performance from The University of Washington. He is currently First Violinist with the Tacoma Symphony Orchestra and is the Director of the Halycon Strings Music School in Ballard.
Rafael H. Howell-Flores, viola & violin
Rafael earned his Master’s in Music Performance at University of New Mexico. Prior to his arrival in the Seattle area, Rafael played with The World Orchestra, New Mexico Philharmonic, Santa Fe Symphony, San Juan Symphony, Ensemble Tarrazú and The World Orchestra Soloists.
Paula Madrigal, cello
Paula studied cello at the University of Guadalajara and conducting at various institutes and workshops. She is currently conductor and music director of the Ballad Civic Orchestra.
