The Sacred Pause

August 30, 2026

Dr. Kate Davies, Guest Speaker

Deb Slivinsky, Worship Leader|
Erin Kelly, Special Music

The Sacred Pause is an intentional, interested, and kindhearted suspension of all doing, when we are not trying to achieve something or to be someone. When we simply rest in an awareness of the present moment. We can pause while doing in almost any activity, and it can last for a few seconds, for a whole day, or for an entire season of life. In this sermon, Kate Davies will explore the nature of the sacred pause and its profound benefits for a spiritual life.
