The Lessons of Imbolc- Resolutions of Hope

Feb 1st is the ancient celebration of Imbolc, halfway between the Winter Solstice (Yule) and the Spring Equinox (Ostara). It is a traditional time to begin planning what to plant as the ground prepares to soften. This Sunday we will explore how to plant our own gardens of hope in this difficult time.

Rev. Justin Almeida (he/they) is a hospital chaplain and spiritual director affiliated with University Unitarian Church in Seattle, WA. Their ministry is located at the Swedish Cherry Hill hospital where they work in Neurology. When not at the hospital, Rev. Justin enjoys walking amid trees and water, and finding strange and curious rocks to share with his family.
