This program, co-authored by a woman and a man, seeks to bring gender issues to the threshing floor. It is an opportunity to explore such issues in a structured and non-adversarial context. Recognizing that gender is a social construct, Owen-Towle and Riddle intend their bridge building as a project that can be undertaken anywhere women and men must work together — in romantic as well as nonromantic relationships, among transgendered individuals, in religious communities and in the workplace.
