Guest speaker Elizabeth Guss is a cradle Catholic who is Celtic in her DNA and soul. She strives to find meaning in all of life’s experiences and will share insights about her own journey into the heart of Catholicism. Choosing two aspects of this rich 2000-year old faith tradition, she will offer reflections on the significance of patron saints and the central worship ritual of Catholicism: the Mass. Known for her work in the community, she is a founding member of the Greening Congregations Collaborative, committed to interfaith work, and co-author of Whidbey Island: Reflections on People and the Land. Her presentation explores how her faith expresses itself in daily life.
