with guest speaker Judith Adams
Poetry connects us to the universe and to our own unique spiritual journey. Its concise language goes straight to the essence of what it is to be human and helps us illuminate and deal with the tough times and vicissitudes of life.
Judith Adams is an English-born poet now living on Whidbey Island. She has published four books of poetry and recorded several CDs. Her poems have been published in magazines and anthologies and choreographed for dance. In 2017 she was selected to be one of the speakers for “humanities Washington”. She has presented readings and workshops and has worked in the correctional system and state hospitals. Judith works with poetry as a way to navigate the heart-breaking territory of grief at Healing Circles in Langley.
